Cyber Safety Awareness Program
The B.Com Department organized a Cyber Crime Awareness Seminar to educate students about online safety and digital security. Officers from the Police Cyber Crime Department conducted the session and explained the various types of cyber fraud, including phishing, OTP scams, fake links, and online financial fraud. They also shared practical tips on how to prevent cybercrime by using strong passwords, avoiding suspicious websites, and protecting personal information. The officers guided students on the immediate steps to take if they become victims of cyber fraud, including reporting the incident to the Cyber Crime Cell and the national cybercrime helpline. The seminar was highly informative and helped students become more aware of safe and responsible digital practices.
