Meet to Management 2025
On 04th August 2025, PKM College organized a special event titled “Meet to Management”, designed to welcome fresh year students from all departments including BBA, B.Com, M.Com and BCA. The event was graced by the presence of CA Savajibhai Menpara (President), Shri Ratibhai Maradiya (Joint Managing Trustee), Shri Shirishbhai Saparia (Trustee, Secretary and Treasurer), Shri M.K. Dekivadia (College Incharge), Dr. Dinesh Dadhania (Campus Director and Executive Secretary), Shri Kishorbhai Mendpara (Treasurer and Secretary ), Dr. Praful Kanjia (Director), Dr. Alkesh Vachhani (Principal) whose valuable presence added great significance to the occasion. The event was gracefully hosted by Professor Jitendra Karshanbhai Zala from B.ed department, who did a commendable job in engaging the audience and maintaining the energy of the event throughout. The program commenced with colorful traditional dance performance presented by senior year students (Solanki Khushali, Solanki Manali, Vala Priyanka, Vaza Kiran), setting a vibrant and welcoming tone for the event. This was followed by the ceremonial lamp-lightning (Deep Prajwalan) by the college management, marking the symbolic beginning of a new academic journey. In a thoughtful gesture organized by the GS from each department, small saplings were presented to Principal, Director and trustees as a token of respect and a symbol of growth, sustainability, and new beginnings. This act reflected the college’s commitment to both environmental values and a nurting academic environment. The event served as meaningful bridge between the students and the college leadership. The trustees, principal and director were formally introduced to the fresher’s, helping them build a sense of connection with the institution‘s guiding figures. Faculty members who had achieved significant milestones over the past two to three years- such as completing Ph.D. or being selected for a government position- were honored for their accomplishments. Additionally, the top three HSC scorers from each department were recognized and awarded trophies for their academic excellence. To share the student perspective, two fresher’s (Rathod Ganga,Heena Badechi) took the stage and delivered heartfelt speeches, reflecting on their initial days and the welcoming environment of the college. The event also featured inspiring speeches by the principal, director and trustees, highlighting the college’s dedication to academic and personal development. The “Meet to Management” event successfully created an atmosphere of celebration, recognition, and connection-fostering pride, motivation and unity among new batch of students.
